Probably you already know about Seoul Sky which is an observation deck in Lotte World Tower, the tallest building in Korea with 123 floors. I have not been there yet but I bet the view would be fantastic. However, the ticket is quite expensive. It costs 27,000 won (about 23 USD). Therefore, when I want to enjoy the vista I go to SKY 31 where you do not have to pay a dime!
SKY 31 is also located in Lotte World Tower. As you can guess by its name, it is on the 31st floor. To access the 31st floor you need to check in at the information desk near the East Gate. About two years ago I had to leave either my ID or credit card to get the visitor’s pass but when I visited a few months ago I could get the pass without any registration.
When you get off the elevator you will see a sky lounge with panoramic windows. I absolutely adore this panoramic view.
There are even shops and restaurants. I am not a big fan of daytime drinking but when I eat lunch here I usually have beer together. It is just so nice to grab some beer while enjoying the view over the city.
There is also a cafe and an ice cream place. If you do not feel like beer then you can always have coffee or green tea ice cream instead! 🙂
